A hybrid capacitor is one of the types of supercapacitor, in which one of the electrodes has a higher electrostatic capacity, while the other has a higher electrochemical capacity. This type of capacitor is characterized by high resistance to environmental exposure, as well as to rapid changes in current. It maintains its performance at very low and very high temperatures.
